Hope for the Future

Wow, I have been a terrible blogger.  That said, I am growing weary (as I am SURE you are) of hearing about our dismal economy.  Every time I check my “news websites” I feel exactly what the media wants us to feel: panic, fear….doubt.  We should wash those ideas clear out of our brains and see the opportunities we are facing instead.  Big companies making bad decisions are getting hit hard (unfortunately, this affects ALL of us); however, these companies will now be forced to re-think their structure, practices, and products.  INNOVATION, my friends, is what we need to come away from this with.  Products will need to be more in-line with what customers ACTUALLY want (ie: have you been shopping lately…yuck), companies will have to become more efficient (them saving money actually saves YOU money in the long run; b/c unnecessary costs are rolled into the final consumer cost), and companies that refuse to innovate will fall by the wayside.

“Easy for you to say, FashionAvenger.”  Nope, not true.  The FashionAvenger lost her employment back in October; when the sole investor in the company she worked for decided to dissolve the company altogether.  Looking for relevant jobs in the area has not been easy, in fact, it is downright impossible!  But I am not losing hope, because I have faith that things will turn around.  And when they do, we have to have faith that it will be better.

What is that saying….’every problem is just an opportunity in disguise.’  Keep the faith, hang in there, it will all work out somehow!
